On Friday, March 20, our 8th graders along with ten staff members and ten parents visited Pepperdine University in Malibu. Students were given a self-guided tour by our own AWESOME and TALENTED 8th grade teachers! The 8th graders enjoyed a full day of activities such as observing a wood shop class and a lab classroom, learning about college requirements introduced by our counselor, talking to college students, witnessing an art exhibit, touring the inside of the athletic fitness gym, watching a live volleyball game, taking a picture with a member of the Pepperdine baseball team (received two souvenir NCAA baseballs), and even running on Pepperdine’s track!
Every grade level at ACRMA4 goes on a college tour. 6th graders visit CSU campuses, 7th graders visit UC campuses, and 8th graders visit private universities.
