8th graders Gabriela Guerrero and Alex Villa and parent Victoria Hernandez were honored by Los Angeles Councilmember Bernard Parks at the “State of the 8th” awards ceremony in October. Gabriela was recognized for having the highest GPA in the 8th grade, Alex was recognized for being the most improved student in the 8th grade, and Victoria was recognized for her community service.
